Davy Jones by Hot Toys

The scourge of the high seas, a ship even the pirates fear - The Flying Dutchman and her captain, Davy Jones - half human, half sea beast and totally heartless!! Just when we thought "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)" couldn't get better with Barbossa seemingly done in at the end of the movie, we are introduced to Davy Jones, his unique crew and the Kraken in "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006)". There's so much to be said and seen that it could only told in two parts, ending with "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007)". We've already seen the likes of Captain Jack Sparrow (one version by Medicom and two versions by Hot Toys), Elizabeth Swann and Sao Feng by Hot Toys, now we take a close look at Hot Toys' Davy Jones.

Came in the usual shiny slipcase

Box packaging with actual product shot

Davy Jones with octopus head and octopus' tentacles as beard, a right hand with a long tentacle in place of his index finger, a crab's claw for his left arm and the right leg of a crab, resembling a pegleg.

The peaks of Davy Jones' hat are meant to resemble devil horns

The unique double-stemmed key to the chest that holds Davy Jones' heart, kept close to him at all times

His pipe carved from whalebone - nice details

There's a crustacean "crawling" at the end of the pipe

Davy Jones' accessories - Dead Man's Chest, Davy Jones' heart, his sword and sheath plus his walking stick

Close-up of Dead Man's Chest and Davy Jones' heart

Nice intricate details on the chest

Chilli crab, anyone?

A prominent sac bulges from under his barnacle-encrusted tricorne.
